Company Overview

Techzone Technology Materials Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 6947), established in 2012, is a leading player of Class A industrial waste management and high-value environmental services in Taiwan. Guided by its core philosophy, “Limited Resources, Infinite Circulation,” Techzone specializes in hazardous industrial waste incineration and physical distillation-based resource recovery. Through forward-looking technology deployment and comprehensive one-stop integrated solutions, Techzone has successfully engaged in Taiwan's semiconductor and high-tech supply chains. Serving as a crucial “green vein" and the environmental safeguard for the supply chain that supports the sustainable development of Taiwan’s technology ecosystem, Techzone serves as an essential role in strengthening local industrial resilience and environmental sustainability.

Dual-Engine Driven Strategic Layout in Semiconductor Hazardous Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy

Techzone adopts a technology-driven environmental service model with high entry barriers. By combining diverse operational experience with an intelligent, big-data-based formulation database, the company has built a hard-to-replicate competitive moat. Through its Guanyin Plant and its wholly owned subsidiary, Hanyang Technology Green Energy, the Group focuses on two core business areas while actively aligns its operations with international sustainability standards.

Field of Semiconductor Waste Treatment

With the rapid expansion of global AI infrastructure and the continued advancement of semiconductor manufacturing nodes, increasingly precise production processes have led to a significant increase in hazardous wastes volumes, including specialty chemical waste liquids and sludges. At the same time, the chemical composition of such waste streams has become increasingly complex. Techzone’s Guanyin Plant operates an integrated green technology system that combines hazardous waste incineration with distillation-based resource recovery. Drawing on massive amounts of data accumulated through years of service to major semiconductor manufacturers, Techzone conducts precise and intelligent chemical blending. This proprietary approach not only helps maintain high thermal efficiency and reduces crystallization, corrosion, and equipment wear, enabling its rotary kilns to maintain more than 300 operating days annually, but also allows residual steam generated from incineration to be directly supplied to the physical distillation process as a refining heat source. This thermal integration enables Techzone’s distillation equipment to reduce natural gas consumption compared with conventional stand-alone distillation operations. In response to the growing demand for recycling new solvents used in next-generation advanced packaging processes, Techzone leverages data-driven analysis to maximize high-value resource circularity, helping the technology industry improve ESG performance and move toward low-carbon, zero-waste objectives.

Fields of Green Energy and Municipal Waste Treatment

To address domestic waste disposal challenges and support low-carbon energy conversion, Techzone participated in the Hsinchu County Government's Build-Own-Operate (BOO) investment project for high-efficiency waste thermal treatment facilities through its subsidiary, Hanyang Technology Green Energy as modern advanced energy resource center in Taiwan.

Hanyang Technology Green Energy redefines the traditional municipal incineration model by maximizing the environmental benefits of waste-to-energy conversion. The facility integrates advanced international pre-treatment systems and a Kawasaki power generation system from Japan, achieving waste-to-energy power generation efficiency of over 25%.

At the same time, the plant is equipped with high-performance air pollution control systems from Germany, enabling emission to remain well below the stringent limits required under its Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). As technology headquarters, science parks, and industrial clusters around Hsinchu Science Park and Zhubei High-Speed Rail Special District continue to expand, demand for municipal and general industrial waste treatment is expected to increase. Through high-efficiency renewable energy feedback to the grid and ongoing low-carbon upgrades, Hanyang Technology Green Energy has become an important foundation for the green circular economy of local communities and high-tech industrial clusters.

Cultivating Taiwan’s Green Vine and Advancing a Full-Spectrum Environmental Sustainability Blueprint

In response to global climate change and increasingly stringent ESG compliance requirements across corporate supply chain, Techzone has expanded its service portfolio into medical waste management through the strategic acquisition of Sunlight Environment Co., Ltd. This expansion further broadens Techzone’s environmental service platform, including hazardous waste, industrial waste, municipal waste, and medical waste, and strengthens its position in Taiwan as the only most comprehensive environmental service provider.

Looking ahead, Techzone will continue to strengthen its production capacity and operational capabilities in Taiwan. The company is well positioned to benefit from the persistent and structural demand for environmental governance driven by the expansion of the semiconductor supply chain, while also capturing synergies from Hanyang Green Energy’s waste-to-energy operations. In line with Taiwan’s green finance and sustainable development policies, Techzone supports major corporate clients in reducing regulatory risks associated with improper waste handling, storage, and disposal, while streamlining green management workflows. Moving forward alongside Taiwan's technology sector, Techzone remains committed to leveraging digitized and low-carbon environmental technologies to protect local ecosystems and help build a sustainable future in which economic development and environmental protection can coexist.
