Developing Customized Surgical Tools and Advance Precision Medicine
During the promotion of trauma products, A Plus found that clinicians face challenges in handling complex orthopedic surgeries, including significant individual differences among patients. Therefore, surgeons need to conduct precise planning before orthopedic surgery, which traditionally relies solely on X-ray films for pre-surgery planning. This reliance limits surgical accuracy and affects surgical efficiency and post-surgery outcomes. Therefore, A Plus developed customized surgical tools to assist clinicians in creating personalized surgical solutions for each patient, ensuring that the surgical results are consistent with pre-surgery planning.
This technology has been applied in knee preservation surgery for the treatment of knee joint degeneration, greatly improving the accuracy of the procedure. Compared to the mainstream treatment method of artificial joint replacement currently available, knee preservation surgery can be applied in the early to middle stages of knee joint degeneration. This procedure allows patients to restore good mobility by correcting the mechanical alignment of the knee joint through surgery, providing an alternative option for individuals with orthopedic conditions.
