By combining the strength of Taiwan’s electronic component industry chain, Bonraybio independently developed a fully automatic miniaturized high-pixel optical microscope lenses, tightly integrated software and hardware computing platforms, and AI testing algorithms, and created the world’s first portable “fully automatic AI sperm quality analysis and testing instrument” that can produce test reports in an intelligent, automated, and standardized manner. Its advanced model can be paired with the sperm DNA fragment testing kit which incorporates the unique “solid-state dye transfer printing technology” to quickly analyze the status of sperm DNA fragments and further interpret male fertility indicators. Its sperm selection device with the exclusive “sperm motility selection technology” has the characteristics of time-saving and easy operation to effectively increase the recovery rate of high-quality sperm and improve the success rate of artificial impregnation via assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Bonraybio’s innovative products have been recognized by various domestic awards. In May 2023, the company’s products stood out among 459 qualified entries and won the silver medal of the ‘National Invention and Creation Award”. In September of the same year, the company won the gold medal of the “Taipei Biotech Awards – Go-Global Medal Award” and was awarded the “20th National Innovation Award - Enterprise Innovation Award” in December. In July 2024, the company won the “Taiwan BIO Awards - Gold Award”. Bonraybio has successfully commercialized its AI fully automated optical microscopy analysis technology by fully integrating various key core technologies and has developed and manufactured a series of “male infertility total solution” products. Currently, the company has obtained 90 patents with 21 patents pending approval, and has obtained product licenses in Taiwan, China, the United States, and the European Union under its house brand LensHooke®, with products marketed to 53 countries worldwide.
