Fifth, to develop diversified financial products. In 2019, new themed ETFs, such as ESG or technology, were issued, and new product ETNs were also introduced for the first time. The TWSE will continue to develop ETNs while concurrently assisting securities firms to do the same, especially leveraged and inverse ETNs. In addition, the TWSE will continue to promote the application of Taiwan Strategic Indices across futures and spot markets to build a more multifaceted and complete financial commodity system.
展望未來，2020 年初開始，受新型冠狀病毒(COVID-19)疫情衝擊，影響全球經 濟後續發展，惟我國受惠於貿易轉單與臺商回臺投資，且政府、防疫團隊及全民在不同 崗位積極努力，行政院紓困方案亦陸續到位，加以臺灣有深厚的市場基礎及優質的上市 公司，為經濟成長奠定穩固基石，國內經濟可望維持適度成長。
Looking to the future, from the beginning of 2020, COVID-19 has affected the continued development of the global economy. Despite this, Taiwan has benefited from order transfers and Taiwanese businesses returning to Taiwan for investment.
