1. Global Connection and Cooperation
1) Since the coronavirus pandemic has moved communications and meetings online, the TWSE actively participated in online meetings and affairs of international securities organizations, such as the International Organization of Securities Commissions ("IOSCO"), World Federation of Exchanges ("WFE"), Asian and Oceanian Stock Exchanges Federation ("AOSEF") and other global bodies. The TWSE took part in WFE working groups on statistics consultation, cyber security, sustainable finance, ETFs, Fintech, and financial education, as well as the AOSEF Sustainability Discussion Group, sharing Taiwan's market development experience and achievements, thereby raising Taiwan's global visibility and influence.
2) The TWSE strengthened cross-market relationships, proactively sharing experience and deepening connections with the exchanges of Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and Mongolia, as well as the Israel Securities Authority.
3) As of the end of 2020, the TWSE signed 44 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with 30 foreign exchanges.
