IV. Continue Promoting Major Business of 2022 – TIB, ESG Ecosystem, Sub-brokerage, Big Data Platform, and Information Security 1. The TWSE will continue supporting the development of startups, both affiliated and unaffiliated with business groups, reaching out to startup shareholders to encourage listings, and conducting overseas capital introduction events to build TIB recognition among international investors. 2. The TWSE will establish an ESG information platform and continue to assist companies in conducting carbon footprint verification and disclosing relevant information. It is estimated that the ESG evaluation framework and indicators will be established by the end of the year and fully launched in 2025, so as to boost Taiwan’s momentum towards sustainable development. 3. To promote sustainability within the TWSE, a number of energy-saving and carbon reduction measures have been adopted in the workplace, including green energy procurement and improvements in solar power generation efficiency. In addition, the TWSE has replaced all lighting in the offices, data centers, and storage facilities with LED lighting. 4. The TWSE will continue working with securities firms and the Taiwan Securities Association to strengthen sub-brokerage services and management. Furthermore, the TWSE will move forward once the FSC announces relevant regulations regarding securities firms accepting orders to trade foreign securities and extend foreign currency financing. 5. The TWSE will set up a big data platform, covering listing, trading, as well as management of securities firms, so as to provide useful data for market and business analysis, push business digital transformation, and incorporate data analysis into its regular operation. 6. The TWSE will promote advanced measures related to the Financial Cyber Security Action Plan 2.0 (12 newly added measures, five extended measures, and 23 continuing measures) as well as four enhanced SF-CERT initiatives, including the monitoring of website anomalies, conducting cyber security forums, counseling for those who fail retests and drills, and relevant guidance for handling cyber security incidents. 7. The TWSE will promote the upgrade of information security for listed companies and continue to encourage second-level listed companies to join TWCERT/CC. 8. The TWSE will continue to help securities companies implement mandatory work specified in the “Regulations on Classification of Cyber Security Responsibility Levels.” 49 ANNUAL REPORT 2022 年報
