The TWSE participated in the meetings and affairs of international securities- related organizations, such as the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), Asian and Oceanian Stock Exchanges Federation (AOSEF), the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), and other global bodies. At the 2022 annual meetings of the WFE and IOSCO, the TWSE met with representatives from over 20 international exchanges. In addition, the TWSE shared its experience in developing the retail investor market and achievements in promoting online investor education at the online working group meeting for the WFE and online seminar hosted by AOSEF. The TWSE took part in WFE working groups for cyber security, Fintech, statistics, and sustainability, as well as the newly established technology working group, raising Taiwan’s international visibility and influence. B.The TWSE strengthened exchange network relationships, by conducting numerous leadership summits, conferences, and visits with the KRX, JPX, and SGX to discuss market operations and continued to engage the exchanges of neighboring Asian countries to discuss further cooperation. C.To promote the latest TIB information and developments and the TWSE in areas such as trading system reforms, ESG progress, and stock performance to a broader international audience, the TWSE works to reinforce ties with intermediaries and amplify core messages through conferences and gatherings of intermediary institutions. D.To attract domestic and foreign investments, the TWSE held manifold online and in-person events to facilitate communication between listed companies and international investors. A total of eight in-person and online capital introduction events were held this year. The TWSE also held nearly 3,000 meetings with roughly 1,500 institutional investors and 221 companies. 39
