I. Issuance Market Business
1. The TWSE will continue to visit public firms, hold listing promotion events, and encourage domestic companies of outstanding quality to list.
2. The Taiwan Innovation Board is expected to be launched in Q3 of this year, assisting businesses with key technologies and innovative capabilities or business models to raise funds on the capital market.
3. With reference to international securities market practices, the TWSE will amend regulations related to IPO review, simplify IPO application paperwork, loosen SPO review standards, and accelerate the listing of innovative startups on the Taiwan Innovation Board.
4. To implement material information disclosure and reporting in English by listed companies, the TWSE will provide a user-friendly English query system and enhance English information disclosure, as well as continue to optimize the English version of the MOPS website.
5. The TWSE will evaluate and strengthen the ETF market framework and supervision mechanisms, as well as establish a structure allowing securities firms to issue strategic index ETN products.
6. In line with the major measures for 2021 in the"Corporate Governance Roadmap" and the ACGA assessment, the TWSE will counsel listed companies to deepen corporate governance and establish corporate governance executives, enhance board functions, promote board diversity, and establish other functional committees.
7. The TWSE will optimize standards for the compiling and verification of sustainability reports in accordance with international practices, further expanding the scope of companies subject to producing sustainability reports and acquiring third-party assurance.
