3.Reinforce Management and Service of Listed Firms
1) 28,976 domestic listed and 4,640 foreign listed company major information inspections and public disclosures, 260 domestic listed and 65 foreign listed company random material information inspections, and 189 domestic listed company material information disclosure press conferences were held.
2) The TWSE conducted corporate governance assessments and promoted prominent corporate governance measures; integrated related departments, community institutions and media resources to cohost related corporate governance activities; assisted listed companies to enhance material disclosure quality of non-financial information and discussed the disclosure of non-financial information that investors are more concerned about in the annual report; and, collected and analyzed the implementation of signatories to the "Stewardship Principles for Institutional Investors", assisting them in performing due diligence and appropriate disclosure.
3) The TWSE promoted the use of XBRL by listed companies to report financial business information, holding three promotional meetings to assist public companies to understand relevant reporting requirements and operations; completed iXBRL filing tools, reporting systems, and adjustments to relevant disclosure content on the Market Observation Post System. iXBRL was officially adopted for filings in the first quarter of 2019, and was successfully completed by listed companies.
